Patronaat stands for an open and adventurous pop culture where everyone is free to be themselves. We offer a sustainable cultural experience: a place for expression, connection, and unforgettable live music. We believe everyone should be able to enjoy that, including people for whom a night out is not always financially accessible. That’s why every month we offer a varied selection of concerts and club nights free of charge to HaarlemPas and ZandvoortPas holders.
How does it work?
As the number of pass holders exceeds the capacity of our venues, we ask you to register in advance for the event you would like to attend.
Use the button below to register for the available events. Please register using the name that appears on your HaarlemPas and bring your pass with you to the event.
Bring someone along! You can also register one guest (+1) when you sign up. Your guest does not need to have a HaarlemPas or ZandvoortPas. This way, you can enjoy a concert or club night together without ticket costs being a barrier.
The selection of events is updated around the 25th of each month. Due to our summer break, the selection is more limited in July and August.

- What is the Haarlem Pass and Zandvoort Pass?
The Haarlem Pass and Zandvoort Pass are special discount passes for residents of Haarlem and Zandvoort with a low income. They provide free access or discounts to a wide range of activities, such as cultural events, sports and leisure activities. You can apply for a Haarlem Pass via the website of the Municipality of Haarlem.
- Do I need to bring my Haarlem Pass?
Yes! Please make sure to bring your Haarlem Pass. We will ask to see it at the entrance to ensure that everyone who registered is a valid pass holder.
- How does it work at the entrance?
Our staff will be ready at the entrance with ticket scanners and the registration/guest list. Let them know that you registered or that you are on the list with your Haarlem Pass. Once your name has been checked, you’re good to go!
- Can someone else use my pass?
No, the pass is personal. Only the person whose name is on the pass will be granted access. We check this at the door, so don’t forget to bring your pass and a valid ID.
- I already bought a ticket for an event that I can now attend for free with my Haarlem Pass. What should I do?
Unfortunately, we are unable to refund tickets. We recommend reselling your ticket via the Ticketmaster Resale platform.
- Is there a limit to how many events I can attend with my pass?
No, there is no maximum number of events per month that you can register for.
- I registered, but I can no longer attend.
We’re sorry to hear that! Please send an email to kassa@patronaat.nl to cancel your registration. For some events we work with a limited number of spots, so this may free up a place for someone else.
- How do I know if my registration was successful?
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email. If you don’t see it, please check your spam folder. Didn’t receive a confirmation? Your registration may not have gone through — please try again or contact us.
- Can I use my Haarlem Pass for events that are not listed on this page?
No, with the Haarlem Pass you can only attend the events listed on this page free of charge.
- The registration link shows few or no events. Why is that?
You are likely checking near the end of the month — or during summer! With the Haarlem Pass, you can attend an average of 10 events per month free of charge. At the end of each month, we announce the selection for the following month on this page and via the registration link. In June, July and August the offer is more limited due to the festival season and our summer maintenance.
