Patronaat bevindt zich sinds 1984 aan de westzijde van het centrum in Haarlem. Voorheen fungeerde het pand als school, maar inmiddels is het uitgegroeid tot één van de toonaangevende kernpodia van Nederland. Met Stage 1 (950 cap), Stage 2 (350 cap) en Stage 3 (120 cap), biedt het plaats voor concerten, dance nachten en meer uiteenlopende culturele activiteiten van internationale acts tot lokale helden.

Bereikbaarheid & parkeren:
Onze loading dock bevindt zich in het pand en biedt ruimte voor maximaal twee full size nightliners plus trailers. De ingang is aan de achterkant van het gebouw, de uitgang aan de voorkant; beide zijn op straatniveau.
We proberen aan zoveel mogelijk voertuigen binnen plek te bieden, maar houdt er rekening mee dat de loadingdock gedeeld wordt voor alle zalen. Daarom kan het nodig zijn een aantal voertuigen op één van onze parkeervergunningen in de wijk achter Patronaat te parkeren, of in de beveiligde parkeergarage tegenover Patronaat. Volg a.u.b. de parkeerinstructies op van de bedrijfsleider om deze logistiek zo soepel mogelijk te laten verlopen.
De load-in gebeurt vanuit de loading dock via onze goederenlift die direct uitkomt op het podium van Stage 1 en Stage 2. In sommige gevallen gaat dit via de voorkant van het gebouw; dit geldt enkel voor Stage 3. Bij aankomst kun je aanbellen naast de grijze roldeur aan de achterzijde van het pand (Ruychaverstraat). De bedrijfsleider laat je binnen en wijst waar je kunt parkeren om in te laden.

Veiligheid & geluidsrestricties:
Patronaat maakt er prioriteit van een veilige werkomgeving te bieden voor haar personeel en gasten. Daarom vragen we gastorganisaties zich ook aan beschermingsmiddelen en Arbo-regels te houden. Denk hierbij aan het juiste schoeisel en gehoor- en gezichtsbescherming, maar ook te letten op de juiste werkhouding en de geluidsrestricties volgens het convenant Preventie Gehoorschade Versterkte Muziek te volgen. Dit houdt in dat er een maximum van 100 dB(A) leg / 15 minuten is toegestaan.
Veiligheid reikt verder dan fysieke maatregelen; ook in verbale communicatie dient men met respect met elkaar om te gaan.
Het gebruik van vuur, vuurwerk, CO2, confetti, streamers of schuim is niet toegestaan zonder uitdrukkelijke toestemming van de productie afdeling. Stagediven door artiest of publiek is verboden met het oog op lichamelijk letsel.

Welcome at Patronaat!
Since 1984 Patronaat is located on the west side of Haarlem’s city center. Previously the old building functioned as a boy school, but we have now become one of the top venues in the Netherlands. In Stage 1 (950 cap), Stage 2 (350 cap) and Stage 3 (120 cap), we host concerts, dance nights and other cultural activities from international acts to local heroes.

Accessibility & parking:
Our loading dock is situated inside our venue with space for about two full size night liners plus trailers. The entrance is at the backside of the building, the exit is at the front side; both are at street level.
We will try to arrange parking in our loading dock for you, but it might be necessary to park your car in the streets behind our venue or in the secured parking garage across the street. Please follow the parking instructions from the floor manager to make these logistics as smooth as possible.
Load-in will either be from our loading dock, or in some cases at the front of our building (this only applies to Stage 3). Upon arrival you can ring the bell next to the grey rolling door at the back of the building (Ruychaverstraat).Your floor manager will let you know where you can park to load-in upon arrival.

Safety & noise restrictions:
Patronaat strives towards creating an open and unique pop culture for everyone. As part of that, we commit to creating a safe environment for staff, artists and the audience where all are treated with dignity and respect.
This includes wearing the right footwear and hearing and face protection, but also to pay attention to the correct working posture and to follow the noise restrictions according to the covenant on the prevention of hearing damage by amplified music. According to Dutch sound regulation, sound levels are restricted to 100 dB(A) Leq / 15 minutes. Sound levels are continuously monitored and logged. Please respect these levels!
Also, the use of fire, fireworks, CO2, confetti, streamers or foam is not allowed without explicit permission from the production department. Stage diving by artist or audience is prohibited in view of physical injury.
Safety extends beyond physical measures; all forms of bullying and harassment are not tolerated. We want to ensure that our venue is free from prejudice, discrimination, harassment and bullying.
