Is there a minimum age requirement to visit Patronaat? We believe it is important for everyone to grow up surrounded by as much music as possible. Therefore, our concerts are generally open to all ages, unless stated otherwise on the event page.
However, we do recommend considering in advance whether the setting of the event is suitable for minors. In our foyer, seating is available where parents or guardians can wait and enjoy a drink. Please note that this area is only accessible with a valid ticket.
If you would like advice about a specific event, feel free to contact us by email or phone.
All of our night programs are accessible to visitors aged 18 and over, unless stated otherwise.

Can I bring my camera en take photos during events?During our concerts, it is not permitted to use professional cameras without a valid photography wristband. Repeatedly ignoring this rule may result in denial of access for you or the platform (for example, a magazine or blog) you are photographing for.
Would you like to take photos during a show? Please send us your request by email at least a few weeks in advance. Mention which concert it concerns and include a link to your portfolio. In consultation with the organizer and the artist(s), we will assess whether we can provide you with a photography wristband. You will be informed whether your request has been approved.
We would like to be transparent: there is often limited space for additional photographers. Usually, several photographers are already present, such as our in-house photographers, press photographers, and sometimes someone from the band’s crew. Too many photographers in the venue can be disruptive for both the artists and the audience. For this reason, we unfortunately cannot accommodate everyone.
Would you like to get more involved as a photographer at Patronaat? You are welcome to apply as an in-house photographer. Please send a short motivation and a link to your portfolio to
info@patronaat.nl. We’d love to take a look! -

What does Patronaat do regarding diversity and inclusion?Patronaat stands for an open, independent pop culture where everyone can be themselves. Our goal is to create a future-proof cultural experience with space for discovery, joy and self-expression for all. Different perspectives, backgrounds and insights make Patronaat richer and more relevant.
We have a Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) team made up of staff from various departments that develops policy, raises awareness and implements concrete improvements. Their work has already led to meaningful changes, such as the introduction of gender-neutral toilets. We also endorse the Code for Diversity & Inclusion and integrate it into our long-term plans.
In the multi-year plan we explicitly highlight the importance of programming that reaches a broad audience and increases diversity across genres and communities. We focus on events and program lines that appeal to youth, queer audiences and people of colour, and actively work to broaden participation and representation.
We are always eager to welcome new faces and stories - whether on stage, behind the scenes, or in our audience. -
What does Patronaat do to ensure social safety? At Patronaat, we believe it is essential that everyone feels safe and welcome. We take various measures to ensure social safety during our concerts and club nights.
Our staff receive training in social safety, including Safer Clubbing training. At busy events, we also deploy additional security staff to monitor the situation and respond quickly if needed.
We participate in the Ask for Angela campaign and display Are You OK? campaign posters throughout the venue to raise awareness and encourage visitors to look out for one another.
In addition, our venues are equipped with camera surveillance to help monitor situations and act appropriately when necessary.
If you experience something unpleasant or feel unsafe, please speak to one of our staff members. We are here to help. -
What does Patronaat do in terms of sustainability?Sustainability is an important part of our organization. Patronaat actively works to reduce the environmental impact of our concerts, club nights and business events.

What happens if a show is cancelled? If an event is cancelled, you will automatically receive an email notification from Patronaat. The ticket price will be refunded via the original payment method.
Refunds are always processed through the ticket platform and original payment method; Patronaat cannot handle refunds directly.
Did you purchase your ticket via Ticketswap? Please contact Ticketswap to request a refund, as the original buyer will receive the reimbursement from the ticket platform. -
What happens if a show is postponed? If an event is postponed, your ticket automatically remains valid for the new date. All ticket holders will receive an email from us with further information.
Unable to attend on the new date? The same email will explain how to cancel your tickets and request a refund. -
What are Early Bird and Late Bird tickets?Early Bird tickets are offered at a reduced rate during the early stages of ticket sales. This rewards visitors who purchase their tickets early. The number of Early Bird tickets is always limited. Once they sell out, sales automatically move to the next price tier.
Late Bird tickets are the final tickets available in a later sales phase, often at a higher price. This does not necessarily include additional benefits; the price difference is based on the timing of purchase and the stage of ticket sales.
For some events, we work with multiple pricing tiers (for example Early, Regular, and Late). The closer it gets to the event date, the greater the chance that prices increase or the event sells out. If you want to secure the lowest price, we recommend purchasing your ticket as early as possible.
In addition, early ticket purchases greatly benefit the music and live events industry. Strong early sales provide certainty for organizers, artists, and venues. Based on ticket sales, we can confirm production elements, invest in additional technical facilities or staging, and better plan staffing. By purchasing your ticket early, you actively contribute to making the event possible. Is there a waiting list for sold-out events? When an event is sold out, there are no tickets available online or at the door. We do not operate waiting lists.
If you would still like to try to obtain a ticket, please check whether tickets become available via
Ticketmaster Resale or (for Universe events) via Ticketswap.nl.
Please note: when purchasing through Ticketswap, there is a risk that a seller may still use the ticket themselves or sell it multiple times. In such cases, entry may unfortunately be denied.
If you are denied entry with a Ticketswap ticket, please ask one of our staff members if you may take a photo of the error message on our scanner. You can then request a refund via Ticketswap Support.
Never purchase tickets via social media (such as Facebook, Instagram, or private messages). The risk of fraud is very high.
For more information about safe ticket purchasing, visit WeetWaarJeKoopt.nl.Can I purchase tickets for a larger group?Via Ticketmaster, you can purchase a maximum of 8 tickets per account per order. This limit is set to ensure fair ticket distribution.
Would you like to attend with a larger group? You may place multiple orders or contact us via
info@patronaat.nl to discuss the available options.
Please note that additional restrictions may apply for high-demand events. What do VIP tickets include? The contents of a VIP ticket vary per event. In some cases, a VIP ticket may include early entry, a separate entrance, a reserved spot, a meet & greet, or additional services.
What is included is always clearly stated on the event page on our website, on the website of the VIP upgrade provider, or within the ticket information on the relevant ticketing platform.
Please read this information carefully before purchasing a VIP ticket.
Please note: VIP experiences are organized by the artist’s own team and not by Patronaat. For questions regarding the content or execution of a VIP package, we recommend contacting the provider listed with the VIP ticket directly. If no contact details are provided, please reach out to us at info@patronaat.nl, and we will forward your question to the appropriate party.I can no longer attend. What can I do with my ticket? We’re sorry to hear you can’t make it! Unfortunately, we are unable to refund or take back your ticket. Event tickets are also legally excluded from the statutory withdrawal period.
Perhaps you can make a friend, family member, or acquaintance happy with your ticket?
If you purchased your ticket via Ticketmaster, you can safely resell it up to 8 hours before the start of the event through Ticketmaster Resale. This is the only 100% reliable way to sell a valid second-hand Ticketmaster ticket. When sold through Resale, the buyer receives a new barcode and your original barcode is automatically cancelled.
For tickets purchased via Ticketmaster Universe, Ticketswap.nl is currently the only resale option.
Never buy or sell tickets via social media, as the risk of fraud is high.

Do not purchase tickets via social media. The risk of fraud is very high.
For more information about safe ticket purchasing, visit WeetWaarJeKoopt.nl.Something went wrong with my Ticketmaster or Ticketmaster Universe order. What should I do?We’re sorry to hear that something went wrong with your Ticketmaster order. Issues with the checkout page are often caused by accumulated browser data. We recommend clearing your browser cookies and trying again. In many cases, this resolves the problem.
Has the payment been deducted from your account, did you not receive an error message, but still haven’t received your tickets? Please wait about an hour. If the tickets still don’t appear in your account after that, something may have gone wrong — for example, a failed payment (in most cases, the amount will be automatically refunded within a few hours) or an incorrectly entered email address.
In that case, you can contact us or reach out directly to Ticketmaster.
If the issue persists, please contact Ticketmaster customer service via:
Ticketmaster Customer Service
They can access your order details and assist you further in resolving the issue.
We hope it will be resolved soon!-
Is Patronaat accessible for visitors using a wheelchair or with another physical disability? We do our best to make everyone’s visit as comfortable as possible. Our venue has a limited number of wheelchair spaces. For most events, wheelchair tickets are available via Ticketmaster. There is no need to contact us in advance for this.
One wheelchair ticket grants access to both the wheelchair user and one companion. As our building is not equally accessible in all areas, we believe it is important that you can be accompanied by someone who can assist you. Therefore, one companion is always admitted free of charge.
Would you prefer to attend alone? Or do you not use a wheelchair but require assistance for another reason? Please feel free to contact us via info@patronaat.nl. We are happy to explore how we can make your visit as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
